I am pretty sure about that, but, that does not mean that if something was to go wrong, they would not blame it on something other than what they did.
In addition, most shops that sell re-manufactured engines have an extended list of items that have to be replaced/reconditioned or the warranty is invalid. If you miss one thing or do not send in a copy of the receipts with the warranty information, then the warranty is invalid.
Standard business practice.
