great writeup, it would be nice if everyone read that before trying to pick their color.

i'm kinda biased, but RM has the other systems kicked in this department. I sold dupont, yeah the vindicator is great, but its not perfect, and if you want to SEE the alternates you cant unless you mix them. with RM each shop gets two cabinets with thousands of variance decks in them, one for solid, one for metallic. these are 3"x2" SPRAYED CARDS (not ink like PPG) Today i pulled up a toyota color with ten alternates. Each alternate has another # by it that corresponds to a card. So i just compared each card to the gas cap of the car (using the 3m Sun Gun since i'm too lazy to walk outside) to see which was a PERFECT match. i've never gotten away with so many dead panel "blends" as i have recently with this paint.
