The reason I ask is my 71 has traces of this paint around the grill shell but the grill has been painted too and I wasn't sure if the PO had painted the shell also. Most restored trucks you see do not have this feature, but most restored trucks have new or polished shells. If any one could shed some light on this for me, I would appreciate it. Chip.
