Had the heads cleaned and checked for cracks, there were 2 cracks but they were repairable for $40, then a valve job was done. Which cost around $200 I believe. Also had to buy new valve covers and bolts.

Got it running this past new years and it has loads of power. It'll smoke my 32" tires no problem. And thats without any real tuning on the carb or distributor. I'm glad I made the upgrade.

You might also consider any of the other after market heads though too. You can get the same or better performance and not have to replace the intake. That's if you already had a good intake for it. Good luck with your build.
