If you are wiring the cargo light with the white and orange wires that the door switches use to ground the dome light then you have to insulate the cargo light with rubber mounts or the cargo light body will ground the white wires and keep the dome light on. Like he said you need to wire the CL separately. The orange wire is hot all the time so you could switch it to the CL bulb positive, and then run a ground to the CL body or you should be able to ground the body directly.
