The Red part is bolting to the frame on top and bottom inside the stock frame rails. The reason i did it this way is because my buddy has one without the green pieces. So in order to pull the tranny, we had to "shimmy" (beat on it with a hammer and 2x4) the crossmember back out of the way which sucked while under a bagged truck and trying to support the trans at the same time.
So i made mine to where you can unbolt the green mounts and drop the crossmember strait down and leave the red pieces bolted in place. Seems easier in my head...
does this make sense to anyone else??
