If I had the time I would have liked to have swapped in a 5.3L & Trans from the newest truck I could get my hands on. They get better mpg and same or more power then the 5.7 sb.

The nice thing would be that I wouldn't have to stock different oil filters for my Chevy
V-8's, but alas, I'll just have to suck it up and have two different Chevy v-8 filters.

Currently I have two 5.7's and three 5.3's .
