I use a copper spoon for backing or preventing blow outs from Harbor Freight Tools. Their cheap and work really good.

I also use a cut off disc to knock down the spot welds.

I follow along on tons of builds but learned a TON of helpful stuff from MP&C

I have been looking for a copper spoon around here forever!! Stupid Canada.
