The ones up there are morels. The are ususally found on the south hillside when the nights start staying warm and there is enough moisture. The morning after a good shower is good if it is warm. The can be found around black oaks, elms, and another I can't think of right now. Ya soak them in salt water over night after you have sliced them. I roll them in egg and flour then fry in butter. Yum. Just seeing these makes me get the fever.
70blowngmc I would not eat those. Here we call them toad stools. I have never heard of anyone eating those.
