leave it at the ride height it is, then, sitting on a level surface with no cargo or people inside, check the lower control arms front to rear and see what angle they are. that angle is what the front end is sitting at right now. the control arms are usually level front to rear and side to side. if you jack the front the angle will get correspondingly different which could be good or bad for the steering.
