It's a 4.3L V6 (never been apart; 205,000 miles). Rear axle ratio is a 3.73 and it does all the towing shown. No problems with the open trailer but the enclosed trailer is a bit much and not recommended.

I should mention the water pump did finally let go on the trip back from St Louis. So - I guess one needs to re-gasket every 200k miles or so -
