You should add an oil pressure switch that will stop the fuel pump if you have no oil pressure because the engine stops running. If you are in a crash and the engine quits, the fuel pump also quits. It's a safety thing so you don't start and feed a fuel fire after a crash. There are a variety of places on the web that describe how to wire it, here's one:
