Re: Anyone move first gen Blazer in a moving truck before?
I delivered a 72 CST from Texas to Nevada years ago in the back of a 20 footer (maybe a bit longer ?) U-haul with wood floor. Loaded it at work, since we had both a drive up ramp and loading dock in our warehouse, then paid a guy $40 on the other end to let us unload it at his muffler shop using his 4 post lift. We had to ask a few shops with 4 posters on the other end, before anyone said yes ..meah, liability shmi'ability !!
Overall it was simple and cost effective. Screwed 2x4's directly down into the wood flooring with 6 inch wood screws, then strapped each tire/wheel down to them. Very solid, no issues. Returned the truck in NV and you'd never known it was used for car hauling.
