I'm curious how the fuel economy will be also, the 5.3 is supposed to be really good on the mpg and the pick up body is lighter than the suv body and that should help the mpg also. I'm looking forward to reporting on what mpg I'm getting.
As far as the over all cost of the project, by leaning on some friends (local talent), and doing a lot of the work myself, I hope to keep it under 10k,,,,,If it went as high as 12k I'd still be happy with that,,,but the wife might not be.
