Does anyone have the proceedure for replacing the rear door check straps on the OBS Tahoe/Suburban? I'm trying to help my Dad out but I'm 1500 miles away right now. He has the new check strap and a replacement bushing/washer. He is having trouble when he puts the spring over the bushing, it is flexing the bushing to a point where he thinks its going to damage the bushing. What I need is a simple step by step for the reinstallation that I can relay to him. I've been searching for about 2 hours and I have only found one post that discusses it and it is vague. Any help will be appreceitated (sp), THANKS.
