Dan definitely I think it was the thick bushing. I just installed my transfer case this afternoon and after I got it bolted to the tranny and sitting at the correct height I measured. Thin would have been way too low in my case.
Right now my output yoke is sitting offset between the frame rails a bit. That side mount basically dictates where it sits left to right between the frame. When I take a measurement I'm 1" closer to the Lh rail than the Rh rail so 1/2" off center.
How close is yours to center between your frame rails ??
