TJ, when I come across a 292 what parts(mounts, brackets ect) should I make sure I have so the 292 can just be swapped out. I was reading a new thread about 292 mounts and it got me thinking, is going from a 230 to a 292 a pain or just plug and play? Thanks, and your motor looks awesome.
You need a right hand side perch from another 63-66 truck with a 292 and apparently either the right hand block mount with OE spacers from a 292 or another left side mount from a 230/250 with some homemade spacers (I think--I still need to check and make sure). AFAIK the block mounts are the same from 63-72.

Hope this helps!
