, reminds me of my son and his '87 blazer, he drove in the mud, jumps and more mud, till body finally broke off. Did a lot of it at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, IL. They had an off-site location like this, they did it summer and winter.
At the end, he had 4" by 4" wood timbers running across the frame to hold the body. The final end came when he hit one big ditch in KY, the body flew up in the air, and when it came down it crashed to the ground thru the frame - dead '87 blazer. Took tractor and drag back to barn to salvage what we could. I was in it when the end came. Nothing but a big smile on his face, for all the fun he had over the years. He now has two CUCV Blazers with SBCs, Dana 60s and 14 bolt with locker.
