Next up was changing the trailing arm cross member and adding some c-notches. Oh and I cant forget about removing my favorite little thing, rivets. Man I hate rivets, seemed like it took forever to get all of them out and when they did come out, look out. Using an air chisel made them shoot like a bullet half the time.
I made sure to keep one rivet, Im going to wrap it up in a box and give it to my dad for Christmas, he'll probably throw it at me when he opens it, but it will be classic. He smashed his hand up pretty good battling with a rivet so he isn't fond of them either.
At this point I'm getting pretty close to being caught up to present day. The frame is pretty much ready for blasting in this pic. Had my cousin weld the top seam on the c-notchs, mainly to keep crap out of in between them and the frame, also stitched the trailing arms.
