We have used the baking soda super glue for years in the copier business. There used to be a company that offered it up in a "kit" form that actually worked better than using off the shelf stuff. The powder was just a bit different and the glue really bonded with that powder. It was a small mom and pop type company that made repair stuff for copiers and printers. They have since retired though and left the business to their kids that just couldn't seem to make it work and the company is gone now.

That stuff works great for repairing plastic panels and other bits and pieces that crack or break off on copiers and printers.
