I think the tire is not in perportion to what is normal. I have a 15r235 tire on a factory rim and ther is no way the mount could support if up off the floor in fact it sits on the floor and still rises a good 4 inches above the side of the bed.
I guesse I;m wrong about whether its monted inward or outward as shown in the fam. Mine has been mounted that way from new, Ditto for several others I have seen.
