It is not the correct taper, I confirmed that. I had a friend make me one from a grade 8 3/4-16 Bolt that was an inch long, with no head, and tapped the spindle to suit. I do not have professional alignment tools, but with rudimentary measuring it looks as if bump steer is illuminated with the stock tie rod under the spindle.
