I'm hoping that fixing the body dents, the little bit of rust on the quarter panels and rocker panels and paint will get me at or under $6k. What do you think? Is that realistic in Reno?

We should meet up next time I'm up there. My friend Alan that the car is parked at is an advanced home beer maker, I designed and built his brewery. Sounds like an opportunity to have a beer and talk about trucks!

I have two friends that had their vehicles painted this summer. 57' chevy truck, little bodywork and single stage paint for 3500.00 and 62' Bonnieville no bodywork, block sanded and two stage paint for 3500.00. Depends how much bodywork you need. mrtoni is right, some body shops like the quick buck, insurance work. Let me know when you are up this way, I could go for a beer or two. Pm me and we can exchange numbers.
