One I wish had bought.

In the fifties and sixties kids would leave here for work in Wichita, Topeka and KC as soon as they got old enough. With the new found "wealth" they had found they would buy a factory hot rod and bring It back here to show it off.

One such car was a 67 Impala SS 396, four speed, 3.31 pose trac, white with black interior and vinyl top. It had tilt wheel, AM/FM stereo multiplex, tinted glass, bucket seats and console and a couple of options that I can't remember, but no AC, PS or PB.

It had all the original paperwork in the glovebox including the invoice. It was $1,200 that I didn't have at the time so I had to let it go.

Oh well.
