Re: 1971 2wd Great Motor Carriage..... Sprucing up my Jimmy!

Thanks guys!
The rear tires are 315/35/20
It will be a static drop, I love both but I have had some close friends that have had near fatal issues with air ride.
We are going to brace the frame, build a 4 link for the rear, convert the existing tubular control arms to coil over control arms, build the upper frame bracket for coil overs and run the CPP open style upper control arms to clear the coil overs.
Based upon mockup we may need to raise the K-member, I am ordering the wide wheel tubs for the rear and we will have to raise the floor some!
The rear end will be a narrowed 12 bolt, strange axles, ford ends, 3:42 gear. The brakes are on the way, 12" Wilwood front and rear, Trans is ready, its a 4L80E freshly built. We will be running the 6.0 truck engine, LSA supercharger with a ZL1 hat and ported snout to 102 MM with a 102 MM throttle body! This should be fun!!!!!
