I have a question. Why do we still call it New Old Stock when it should be New Old Parts. When I bought the N.O.S. I sold it was parts I bought from stock... meaning at the Chevy dealership parts dept. THAT was New Old Stock. Now it's not from stock, it's many hands since for the most part.
Also, when I was at Carlisle a week or so ago I kept overhearing guys saying N O S and it made me think, "Why do they say it like that?". I mean, it's an abbreviation, right? Well, New Old Stock is three single syllables same as N O S. It's just as easy to say the words as the letters. I think about a lot of stuff
