Thanks for all the support guys. The blaster dude is scared to do it, but I told him to take his time, use the same grit, pressure and angle and check it as he goes. He tried a little. I went to look at it ( he wasn't there). Can't tell any diffence yet. I mentioned to him to maybe put a rachet strap around the outside of the hood on top of the rib to keep that area somewhat it place. The strap will move some. The ideal way to do it is hold with the strap a piece of metal with the same curve of the hood and lay that on top of the hood. It wouldn't move as much. Is that clear as mud?

i shot a few pics with it outside for a better reflection before I hauled it over. It doesn't look to bad, but it is. BTW creepers make a good way to roll the hood around.

Also trying to troubleshoot my 2004 Tahoe rough idle.
