It rode great. I would imagine that the rear weight of our trucks and a Chevelle are about the same.
On the front, I cut 1.5 coils and cut off the bump stops on the LCA's. I sold that truck about a year ago, but I wouldn't recommend the coil cuts that much just because it puts the LCA's too close to the ground. If you're considering cutting coils, read this first....
