That is correct. And that is one of the biggest reasons the 700R4 has a bad reputation with so many people. They refuse to do their research on the trans setup and even then refuse to set it up right away, no matter how many people tell them how to do it correctly, and right away. All to many people think it is a 'kick down' cable. It is not. It is the TV (Throttle Valve) cable. And if it is not setup and adjusted correctly just as soon as the trans is in the vehicle and operating, the trans can burn up in a short time. This is covered time and again in the Engine and Drivetrain section of this forum. Plus all of the setup info is in that section as well.
