Excellent thread, and very timely.

When I first got my '87 back from my father in law the cruise did not work. That ended up being the wiring in the turn signal stalk (broken wires right at the base, near where it goes into the column. Replacing the lever fixed it and all was well.

Now, after a couple years, it's stopped working again. I haven't dug into it yet, but am subscribing to this thread so I can follow along, and also in case I find something new.
