In the glove compartment I found the owners manual and original paper work from when the 82 was sold new on Nov. 11, 1981 to "WELSCO" a wielding supply company.
That explains the iron plate on tailgate.

Also my brother still works for WELSCO and was working there when this truck was bought new. It is a small world for sure, but I would not want to paint it.

The only constructive truck time I've had involved moving the trucks, the jeep and vette around so I could get them all in the shop at the same time and still have room to work.

Also had a nice visit by phone yesterday with bro. TA2DON that was mostly truck related.
