The headliner on my 1990 started sagging and I ended up replacing it myself. The end result is that it looks like a factory job. Here's what I did. I bought some headliner of the right color and dimensions from eBay.

Our Suburban's are very long so it'll probably take 2 pieces of the headliner material. I then scrapped the old headliner material from the headliner board. I then used contact cement to attach the new material to the old headliner board using a very large brush. The results are very professional looking and probably just like how it came from the factory.
