Today's progress... New 1 ton rear end in. For now we just removed the overload springs and kept it under the axle.
Need to work on flipping the front axle next week, and order the 4" drop axle. Then we'll C-notch and flip the rear.
I think it looks pretty good short, with the 18 inch wheels! There is some talk of removing the centers (since they are riveted), and welding them into an 18x12" steel hoop to run "super singles" in the rear. Not sure on that yet, but we do have a couple of extra wheels to play with
