In picture 2 of the same post the brackets are bent too.

Post 38 shows a pristine set of brackets with the speaker in the proper angled position dictated by unmolested brackets.

I suspect the brackets in post 32 were manipulated in a vise or brake but maybe you have the one set of brackets that place the speaker so it hangs straight down.

I have another set not pictured. Neither set show any signs of being bent original paint. I believe there’s another set in this thread the same as well. It must be one of those mysteries just like how no one knows how it is decided that we even have the hanging speakers or not 😂
