I am not sure exactly about a "tear" in mine but the doc said there was not much left of it. I guess I will have to do more research. It is really stiff and swells by the end of a day on the concrete at Lowe's. It feels like needles are poking from the inside when it bends the wrong way. I sure am getting restless about this car though. I really want to hear it run right and idle well. I am having a hard time finding the original style spark plugs though. AC44 I think. I gave up a while back. I can find AC45's. Would that be OK?
