It'a a wonderful asset if you can find a local shop. I have a little metal bucket that I just fill up with GM specific bolts, shims, Timmerman nuts, screws, etc. When it gets full I drop them off for plating.

Its so nice to have hundreds of the little pointy body bolts with built in washers all ready to go. Heck, I've got a cup full of restored starter bolts and cups of body shim, accelerator return springs, etc.
