To get it to lay frame, meaning the frame is on the ground literally, the front crossmember will either need to be modified or changed. My truck lays frame with a PB7 dropmember, 2” spindles and air bags up front.

To some a 4/6” drop is plenty and doesn’t require much. Also this level of drop will not require the bed flood to be raised. You keep the bed in stock form.

If you want to lower your truck, you just have to figure out how low you want to go. The lower it is, the more modifications it’s going to take.
