I am looking at buying a set of axles out of a 75 3/4 ton 4x4. The front is a dana 44 and the rear is a 14 bolt with a gov lock. Ratio is 4:11s. Comes from hub to hub and drum to drum.

1) What is the average going price for these?

2) I am unfamiliar with the "gov-lock". How tough/dependable are they? How well do they work?
