and I feel stupid.
I was gone for a week. I didn't go anywhere though. I just haven't been able to log on at home. I thought my modem was bad and tried all kinds of different things to get it working. no success. then today I decided to take the plunge and call my provider and see what a new modem would cost me. as it turns out I was late with the payment so they decided to shut me off.
weird thing is the cable and phone worked. why can't they turn off the cable instead. it would get the wife's attention and she would pay it right away. LOL
I know, I know. pay it on time and I wouldn't have these problems. the thing is I get busy and the wife pays the bills with my money. she hardly ever uses the puter so she has no clue if there is a problem.
