Well I bought a better quality HEI for my 292..its from Speed Master off ebay. Capable of 7,000 RPM and has a 65,000 volt coil...and with the big carb..really burns the fuel nicely...I am running Napa premium 8 MM wires. I reved the motor to 4700 RPM when I shifted to 3rd!!!!
Almost to 5000!!!! YEAH! lol! Anyhow...here's a picture...videos to follow soon.
