Re: C1500 and K20 Burb swap frames?
As far as I know,yes. It seems the common belief is that truck and Suburban frames have different profiles,but my friend was researching frame differences and found diagrams with all the dimensions that showed they had only some minor difference that wouldn't matter,if any at all. The body mounts vary,which will be obvious and not too difficult to deal with. The 4wd and 2wd differences are minor,too. The frame at the engine cradle rises up about an inch higher over the axle on the 4wd frame. My friend who did the frame research is a member here and you should PM him to pick his brain.
