Bias ply tires all around made for better mileage.

You just can't be concerned about gas mileage when you choose to purchase a 1Ton dually, since most have a 454.

I used the truck hauling 36' plus, racing, off-shore powerboats.

The other issue was braking, down a long grade......with 10+ tons, including the massive trailers.
