My first experience was a couple of years ago when I test drove a red 72 short bed. It had been modified, 454, big wheels, lowered and modern radio. Pretty much what everyone on this site wants
I thought this is what I wanted but couldn’t pull the trigger. Later after test driving a few more I realized my tastes leaned more toward the original stock look which is what I eventually ended up with.
