If it's a plain vinyl seat with ribs you should be able to reproduce it in high quality Marine Vinyl and cloth backed foam. I've done Motorcycle, ATV, and Tractor/machinery seats in 32oz -20°F rated Marine Vinyl that has far outlasted the originals.
A mid-century Singer 201, 319, or 501 will easily sew leather and high quality vinyl. I lean toward the 201 for straight plain stitching because it's a heavy simple mule and built like a Sherman tank. The bells and whistles on the fancy stitching machines like the 319 & 501 make them slightly less robust and harder to fix.
