So, I bought a new coil and installed. Realized the coil negative was being grounded somewhere. After disassembling the point set and putting it back on the distributor, I decided to disconnect my tach. Checked the coil with a meter and everything magically worked. I put the distributor cap on, put in fresh gas and she fired right up!
Here's the video, please excuse my son and his crying. He has never heard pure power from a motor like that.

My engine analyzer is coming in next week, so I will set the dwell exactly then.

My next goal is to get the bed off and move my truck into the garage where I can work more comfortably. I want to clean the frame rails and paint them, install new gas tank,sway bars, etc.

Figured I'll start in the back and work my way up front.
