The easiest way to remove the axle cones is a good rap with a hammer on the side right at the cone stud and should pop free; leave nut on end of stud so your not on a search mission around garage floor.
The thrust washer under each side gear must be installed on the locker side gear. The locker just fits inside carrier(ring gear side first)with its axle still in place.
The hardest part for some reason is getting the springs in the locker but finally with some finesse they are installed. Now we install our new pinion shaft and new (not included with locker, Split pin).

Ok; now on to the Speedy sleeve...
