The next problem was the Kelsey Hayes Distribution block.
When I lost the brakes (car had sat for a couple weeks undriven) I figured the single bowl MS had given out. However, I didn't see any fluid on the firewall, inside or out, or on my floorboard. When removing it, there was some in the boot, but not a large amount. Weird.
I may have found my leak yesterday. The original Kelsey Hayes Proportioning valve appeared to be ok, but it was covered in old dirt/oil, etc. I cleaned it up, and when blowing out the line connections with an air hose produced a fair amount of fluid from the weep hole. Crap. So, being new to mustangs I discover this part is no longer available and these are the kinda prices people want for them, even ones that need rebuilt are crazy...
