That has to be it... I didn't do a radically dropped build, but I also became aware of the sucked in look of the track on many IFS systems out there. Almost all are based on a 56.5 to 57" track (basically stock). When I did mock-ups at various drops with 235/70 tires (7" rims -4" backspace) noticed that with a 59" track, the tires didn't looked sucked in and also looked more centered in the fender. However, I only did a 2" drop with a 59" track - going really low could cause clearance problems to the fender where it rolls back in.
Note: I think Scott's offers various track withs for dropped ADs. Heists used to offer a 60" track option. Those firms might know more about clearance issues.
