Re: upper trim attachment options
I've read about guys using the broad side of a 2x4 to gently push down and pry out on the top of the trim and release the clips that way, but I've never tried it.
I added trim to a non-trim truck and used the adhesive clips along the upper bedside trim because it was easiest. I did use a bolt-in clip in the last spot because I could access that hole through the taillight hole.
