I kind of figured that would be the case but it is nice to have some first hand feedback. Thanks for that.
I guess the only real option would be to relocate the gas tank and I just don't really care to do that. I do plan to go with the TMI interior and I have to wonder if their console could be modified to have a storage compartment but cutting into a brand new multi-$100 piece would take some guts. Maybe by the time I get around to buying the interior they will have come up with a console with a storage compartment.
